As nerds and gamers, we’re always looking for new ways to show our support to the games we love and the developers who put their hearts into creating them. One great way to do this is by buying merch, but when you love indie games, it can be pretty difficult to track down reputable sources to buy high-quality stuff.
If you’re a fan of adventure games, which you probably are if you’ve landed here, then there is some excellent news – The Adventure Games Merch Store has been launched by YakWaxLips, and not only can you get merch for a huge number of niche or lesser-known adventure games, but buying from the store directly supports their developers.
I know this isn’t what I usually cover here on TNT, but some things are worth breaking the mold for.
And no, this isn’t sponsored. I just really love what YakWaxLips is doing here, and I will always advocate for supporting indie devs. Anyway, let’s take a bit of a closer look.
Designs for days

The Adventure Games Merch Store is filled with shirts, housewares, bags, hats, and a whole variety of other items emblazoned with stunning designs from some fan-favorite point-and-click titles. Designs aren’t limited to game logos, either. Some designs revolve around inside jokes and specific details that only those who have played will understand, such as pub logos from Lucy Dreaming.
Currently, there are 11 developer collections covering 17 different adventure games, and more collections are likely to be added in the future. Most recently, the store teamed up with Cabernet developers Party for Introverts to introduce a new range of Cabernet-themed goodies that really serve to translate the dark, gothic world of the game into something you can use to show your support.
Support your favorite devs

Making games is an expensive business, and funding the creation of new games can be difficult at times. If you have a favorite developer who happens to have merch on the Adventure Games Merch Store, you’ll be happy to know that some of the profits from merch of their games go directly back to the developers.
Merch purchased on the site can be shipped worldwide, with shipping starting at £3.69 (or your local equivalent) and varying depending on your location. Orders have already started to ship out to a number of different countries, and happy players are already receiving their orders.
If you’re an adventure game fan, head over to the Adventure Games Merch Store and check out the wares on offer. You might find something to add to your wardrobe, and you can sign up for the newsletter to get early access to new collections as they’re added.
