Hello, and welcome to The Nerdy Type.

I started TNT after growing tired and jaded by the constant churn and burn of larger gaming sites, as somewhere that I could write about what I wanted, when I wanted to write. However, it’s become something larger than that.

It all started with a post on Twitter (yes, I will forever call it Twitter, regardless of what Elon Musk tries to do to it). I called out for indie game developers to show me their games, with the promise that I would write about it somewhere, wherever I felt it could be a good fit.

And lord above did people deliver. The post got over 30K views in a single day, with over 100 comments overnight, and has been shared out by almost 100 people. That might not be impressive to some, but it increased my follower count by over 400 in less than three days and, suddenly, I found myself carving a bit of a niche for myself.

With that, I found myself with a website that I controlled and hundreds of indie developers wanting some attention brought to their game. So, TNT changed, and it’s become a safe place for indie developers, somewhere for their game to get coverage when perhaps it usually wouldn’t. It continues to evolve, and likely will for some time.

You can find more information about that here.

Needless to say, if you’re a fan of indie games or an indie developer yourself, please contact me with anything you want me to look at. I can’t promise that every game will get a full feature dedicated to it, but every game will be mentioned somewhere.

Thank you, and I hope you find something here that you love.
